The yearbooks are officially in! There are 15 leftover yearbooks on sale in the bookstore for $35, cash only. If you ordered a yearbook and have not received it, then go to the bookstore before homeroom or during lunch.

Attention students!  Need something to read for the summer?  Check out the Little Free Library in the Lynhurst Veteran’s Memorial Garden!  The library is full of books waiting for you to pick one out.  The books are free to anyone, and you may keep it or return it.  You may also donate books to the library.

Spread the word that the Little Free Library is there and welcome for anyone to use!

I know that you have heard the announcements for game club throughout the year, and some of you may have seen us set up after school in the cafeteria.  A couple of weeks ago there was a video game competition that had multiple middle and high schools competing against each other.  Thanks to everyone in the game club that showed up, played games, and coded, we were in a tight race for first.  During that event Patrick and Luke cleaned up.  Partick got 1st in Smash Brothers, and 2nd in Mario Kart.  Luke got 2nd in Smash brothers giving us a total of 150 points.  After the championship we ended up winning the whole thing by 130 points.  If they hadn’t done so well, we would have lost.  If the game clubbers watching decided to skip a day, we wouldn’t have won.  If you decided that you didn’t want to code while waiting for a game, we wouldn’t have won.  We have won the championship the last 2 years, so other schools are looking to take us out.  Next year we want even more people in the game club, so pay attention to announcements and join.  Congrats guys!
