Media Center Policies

Students visit the Media Center every two weeks with their Language Arts teacher. Students may check out up to five items on their accounts including books, magazines, and audiobooks.

The computer lab in the Media Center has 24 computers are available to students. All usage must be in compliance with the Wayne Township Internet Access Policy. Students must have teacher permission and supervision to access the internet.

Scholastic Book orders are available each month in the Media Center. Parents are encouraged to place orders online to earn even more new books for the Media Center. We have two Scholastic Book fairs during the school year, one in the fall and one in the spring.

Our Media Center participates in the Boxtops for Education program. Please return your boxtops to Mrs. Reeser in the Media Center. Our Boxtops earnings support book clubs and help us purchase new books. We also participate in the Campbell’s Soup Labels program. We redeem labels for new books.

Students will receive overdue notices in homeroom as a reminder to return or renew materials. Items kept longer than 60 days are subject to a replacement charge.
