  • 2009 Named Outstanding/Successful School by the Indiana Association of Teacher Educators. One of the only two schools in Indiana to win this award. Nominated by the University of Indianapolis.

School Achievements

  • We had 100% of our parents complete student-led conferences. This was an all-time record for our school.
  • We have had a 37% decline in discipline incidents, which continues a 5-year downtrend.
  • We received a grant from the federal government that resulted in the installation of powerful new technology in every classroom.
  • Chinese delegation from Jiaxing Experimental Middle School visited in August, and Kurt Kuehn visited Jiaxing in October.
